The Kitchen - 2025
In autumn 2025, I had the honour of lighting designing the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama's performance of "The Kitchen" in the Embassy Theatre in London.
First performed at the Royal Court in 1959, Arnold Wesker's epic masterpiece dramatises the relentless drudgery and frantic toil of a busy restaurant kitchen - a mechanised hell populated by a multitude of chefs and waitresses all battling to satisfy the customer.
